To address the urgency of cyber threats and the cognitive load of handling high-volume data, OverSOC sought to rethink data visualization, drawing inspiration from modern gaming experiences to enable faster, more intuitive incident responses.
Building upon initial early-stage prototypes, I led the design of the MVP and established a scalable roadmap to guide the product's long-term evolution. My mission was to bridge the gap between fragmented cybersecurity workflows and a unified, all-in-one platform; effectively redefining the domain’s design language to ensure a cohesive, user-centric experience.
To define a high-impact product roadmap, I collaborated closely with cybersecurity experts to translate their operational pain points into a suite of innovative, user-centric features. Key initiatives included (but not limited to):
I pioneered a new visual grammar for the domain, providing data analysts with a unified, intuitive 'shared language'; making complex insights instantly communicable through a single screenshot.
Acted as a strategic pillar for the technical team, co-developing innovative solutions to mitigate data-processing bottlenecks. Additionally, I took on a mentoring role, guiding junior designers to maintain high standards of quality and user-centricity.
